A Letter from Our President
Thank you for visiting our Olympians and Paralympians site. The Houston Olympians and Paralympians Chapter is an organization that takes great pride in its achievements. We work hand in hand with the Olympic & Paralympic Committee/Team USA to offer essential support, including educational funding, job placement opportunities, career development, and financial assistance for medical needs such as mental health and overall well-being.
Our primary goal is to continue providing mentorship and assistance to Olympians, Paralympians, and Olympic Hopefuls to help them train effectively and bring Gold medals home to Houston. Our values are rooted in good sportsmanship, excellence in education, unwavering commitment, and dedication.
Our chapter is home to more than one hundred Olympians and Paralympians, making us a powerhouse of athletic talent. Houston boasts numerous Olympic and Paralympic Gold Medals as a testament to our dedication.
Olympians are incredibly rare, with only 1 in every 1.5 million individuals achieving this remarkable status. We are fully committed to the growth and enrichment of this organization, and we invite you to join us in our mission to continue thriving and offering Houston Olympians and Paralympians the opportunity to bring Gold medals to our great city.
Your delightful support and funding are invaluable in helping us achieve these goals.
Warm regards,
Jackie Washington, OLY
